Research

What motivates members of the public to act in the way they do regarding politics, and how do political elites attempt to communicate with members of the public regarding politics?

The above question highlights the central features of my research interests. My general interests lie in political communication, political psychology, public opinion/political behavior, and religion and politics. I have papers that are in progress or under review in each of these areas. Further my dissertation touched on many of these areas in American politics. Below you can access my published work.
